Highly sought after full size vintage Sadler barrel teapot featuring gold chintz over a eggshell/beige colored glaze and a bow finial. Beautiful setting surrounds a portrait of Crinoline lady wearing yellow and purple, gathering flowers in her garden. Portrait graces both sides of the teapot and is finished with an elegant thick gold trim. She is sure to enchant all who behold her beauty. Lovely neutral colors make it the ideal teapot choice to fit most tea sets settings.
Gorgeous hard to find these days. Reportedly rarely used, she is in excellent vintage condition without displaying any chips, tea stains, cracks, or restoration. The last photo shows what looks to be bubbles in the glaze that has popped. Tiny surface chip on the rim that is barely noticeable. Nothing is visible with lid on. Completely serviceable and makes a wonderful gift as well.
Measures: Teapot 9 5/8" wide from handle to spout x 5 7/8" tall. She has been around a very long time, and yet she is fine vintage condition. Bottom stamped "Sadler, Made in England 1737 PE"
A must for any Sadler collector.

I want you to love your purchase so please ask any questions you have that I did not cover as all sales are final and non-returnable. Please note that vintage pieces are considered to be used. Exhibiting soft wear, crazing, or small manufacturing flaws is to be expected of vintage pieces. Teapots made during this time often displayed manufacture defects.

Beacause of the nature of these vintage items, all sales are final. I do not accept returns except if your item was not described accurately. Unless it specifies the item is in pristine condition, you should assume it has a degree of wear to it, as this is a vintage/previously used item.
